A head without a body, and in it naught but a mouth. — Book of the Cast-Out 13:4
They say maws are the heads of those cast down on the Day of Harvest with a curse on their lips: the body rotted, the scream remained. Weaker than gargoyles but closer and quicker; in a flock they carpet the field with spit.
Spit
Strikes from up to 14 m with a lead, keeps 7 m away, spits every 1.7 s. Run in zigzags and shoot them down. Hits for 8.
Stand not straight before the mouths of them that curse.
