The leech is blind and never wounds — it drinks. Once latched it pulls health faster and faster, past any armour. The sack at its side is the life it has drunk; kill it and it all ends.
Tether
Within 3 m it opens its maw for 0.35 s and hooks you with a beam that follows you. It drinks 5% of your health per second, 2% more every 2 s, up to 15%.
Her beam is a cord reversed: it giveth not life, but taketh it.
Breaking free
Kill it, run beyond 9 m or step into a safe pocket. While drinking it crawls after you at 40% of its speed — you can outrun it.
