Lord of the flies, prince of rot, and his swarm is without number. — Covenant of Blood 6:1
Beelzebub fell in the first rebellion and became the prince of rot. He hovers over the hall and strikes with swarm, rot and brood; between phases he screeches and blows away anyone near.
His swarm is those there was nowhere to put. Hell was built for the few, and after the Harvest it had no room even for the dead; what did not fit into the cubes or onto Mammon's scales rots and becomes flies. Beelzebub does not rule this rot — he is it.
Phases
I · Swarm — from the start. II · Brood — from 60% health. III · Plague — from 25%.
Swarm
A 1.8 m cloud follows you for 7 s, slower than a walk; inside it you take 5 every 0.4 s. Scatter it by dashing through or with a weapon hit.
The swarm is slow; pass through it in a rush, and it scattereth.
Rot spit
3 globs, in plague 5, arc over: the first lands where you will be. The splash deals 22, leaving an acid pool for 9 s — 5 every 0.5 s. Jump over pools.
Where the rot fell, there is a pool; leap over it.
Dive
He soars, his shadow chases you and freezes 0.7 s before the drop. The fall deals 42 in a 3.4 m circle; jumping won't help. Then he sits on the ground for 1.8 s — strike.
The fly's shadow is upon the ground; leave the shadow.
Wing gust
Within 5.5 m — a ring on the ground, then a gust: 10 and a push. Don't cling to him for long.
Cleave not to the Lord of flies, as a fly.
Brood
3 cocoons by the walls, in plague 4, 500 toughness each. Not broken within 14 s, each bursts into 3 imps. While one stands, Beelzebub takes only 35% damage: cocoons first.
Break the cocoons before they hatch.
Plague
The whole hall is fogged for 11 s except 3 clean circles of 2.8 m — and they crawl. Outside a circle you take 5 every 0.5 s. Stay inside.
Only the circle is clean, and the circle crawleth; follow the clean.
