Bow, and thou shalt enter. — Book of the Order 11:1
He was the first to set foot on the earth on the Day of Harvest, and he walked all of it in one day — from house to house, from door to door. He looked each one in the eye; the clean he took by the hand, and they were already standing in the grass of the Garden. He has one law and repeats it without anger: bow. Whoever bows is spared; but the hand of his halo remembers everyone who bowed, and one day it comes for them by itself. Whoever moves takes a pillar of light, and their submission is struck off.
He counted clean whoever bowed: so the Faces told him, and he did not ask why. The gate he leads you to has been locked since the day the Book was shut, and he has no key. He does not know that no one new is awaited behind that gate, and he still holds out his hand.
Phases
I · The Rounds — from the start. II · Endless Noon — from 60% health. III · The Harvest — from 25%.
Kneel
The lantern goes up and a toll rolls through the hall; then 1 s of judgement: whoever moves more than 0.45 m or jumps takes a pillar, 26, from above. Whoever stands still is spared and gains a mark of submission. You may strike while standing still.
It is said: bow. The one who standeth is not touched; the one who stirreth is judged.
Submission
Up to 3 marks. Each makes the hand fly at you 15% faster and drags you to the gate 0.8 m/s harder; when they are full, a hand comes for you by itself. Defiance in judgement strikes off every mark.
Whoso boweth thrice, him they take by the hand.
Hand of the halo
A palm flies at 7 m/s and turns slowly — step aside at the last moment or run. Once it takes you it leads you to the gate at 4.5 m/s for up to 6 s; reach it and the locked gate strikes for 38. Hands can be cut down or shot: 160 toughness, and a severed one costs him 3% of his health.
Give not thy hand to him that leadeth unto a locked gate.
Endless noon
The hall is divided into yards like a chessboard: noon falls 4 times, in the Harvest 6 — on the yards of one colour, then the other, every 1.3 s: 22, from above. The yards about to be struck glow; step into a dark one.
They kindled the noon over the street, that none might hide in shadow.
From house to house
Golden footprints lead to you: he walks them 3 times, in the Harvest 4 — whoever is touched takes 24 and is thrown aside. Step off the footprints. At the end he knocks at the door: a 3.2 m ring along the ground, 20; jump it.
And he walked all the earth in one day, and knocked at every door.
Blessing
A palm thrust forward: a 110° sector of 3.2 m, 22 and a push. Jumping won't help — leave the sector.
He blessed with his hand — and cast away.
